This cherry side table was inspired by Shaker forms. The photo features the half-blind hand-cut dovetails on the front of the drawer. The drawer is made with poplar and is constructed using hand-cut dovetails and a floating bottom to accommodate for the wood’s movement. The drawer is resting on two rails for easy sliding. The tabletop is fastened to the aprons with wooden buttons.
